Blake Kloeckner

Summary

Blake enjoys looking behind the curtain to fully understand how things work, so he can work on making them better. Whether it’s building excel models, designing compensation plans or implementing software packages, he is constantly striving to maximize the resources of the business for scalability, risk management, or efficiency gains. Blake is responsible for the Financial Planning & Analysis needs of the firm, including budgeting & forecasting, business intelligence, reporting, and treasury management.

Prior to joining Growth Operators, Blake spent 5 years in commercial banking as a credit analyst and relationship manager, and 8 years in corporate finance & accounting roles. Most recently, he served for 6 years as the Director of Finance for a Minneapolis based IT Consulting and Staff Augmentation firm. During his tenure, he oversaw all aspects of finance and accounting and led the firm through a Private Equity transaction and three subsequent acquisitions.

I am always striving for small improvements or efficiency gains in how work gets done, whether its mine, or my stakeholders. Sometimes the best results aren’t from doing one thing perfectly, it’s from doing everything just a little bit better.
