AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Controllership

Building a solid base of efficient processes and procedures can be the platform to launching timely and accurate financials. I most recently have focused on controllership roles, including month-end close processes, day-to-day accounting, account reconciliations, and implementing controls and documenting procedures. I enjoy the process of digging into details, cleaning up old issues, and identifying areas of improvement.

System Implementation

I have been a key player in multiple system implementations. I have been responsible for system selection, project management, system setup, process design, testing, training, and report creation. I enjoy thinking through the end users’ needs and building the system’s data and account structure to meet their needs.

Process Improvement

I am continually looking for ways to improve upon processes, simplify complexity, and automate tasks. This allows the team to focus on tasks that create profitable growth.

Financial Analysis

The key to success as a finance leader resides in the ability to think critically and provide non-bias insights and recommendations. I have proven experience with traditional financial planning and analysis functions such as budgeting and forecasting, as well as analyses that drove business unit growth including pricing analysis, distribution model analysis, and NPV analysis. I am highly collaborative with stakeholders across all functions to create budgets and forecasts that drive future results.
