Emily began her career as a financial analyst and transitioned into payroll and accounting roles. She was responsible for multiple payroll system conversions and transitions. Her experience includes payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, system conversions, report creation, and budgeting. She is passionate about working as a team and providing efficient and accurate work.
I have spent several years of my career owning the entire payroll process from maintenance to processing to reporting to tax filing. I also created payroll and benefit journal entries, reconciled, and analyzed payroll and benefit accounts, and created payroll analysis reports specific to companies’ ever-changing needs.
I've been responsible for various accounting duties, including month-end close processes, day-to-day accounting, budgeting, account reconciliations, financial analysis and reporting, and cost-benefit analysis. I strive to ensure accuracy in all that I do.
I have been a key player in multiple system implementations. I have been responsible for project management, system setup, process design, testing, training, report creation, and documentation. I enjoy digging into the details and ensuring accuracy by not cutting any corners during the testing process. I prioritize educating end-users on using new systems efficiently and accurately.
I look for ways to ensure efficient and accurate processes. As I come across errors, I look for ways to improve the process on the front end to help minimize errors. In the past, when system-generated reports didn’t match company needs, I would create reports to solve the problem.
