Fiona has over 25 years of professional service that started with her training at KPMG in Dublin, Ireland. Her roles there ranged from business analyst to Vice President of Finance in manufacturing, construction, financial services, insurance, and non-profit companies based both in Europe and the USA. Most of her responsibilities have been part of strategic startups for subsidiaries of large multinational companies and private equity backed companies. Fiona has had a variety of experiences both in the US and Europe that have formed the critical skills that serve her clients. Fiona especially enjoys working with growing companies and sharing their stories with interested parties through complete and accurate financials.
My responsibilities have spanned from establishing the preparation of financial accounts to making strategic presentations before boards of directors. I enjoy being responsible for the completeness and accuracy of the financial statements as well as providing analysis that helps tell the financial story about a company.
I have consulted on and established policies and procedures for the accounting function in a range of businesses. I always bring along my Business Analyst skillset to assess and optimize IT systems. My successes are consistently marked by identifying and implementing efficiencies that improve the bottom line.
I have led acquisitions and integration work that included combining companies and rolling out standard operating procedures. Integration work included the establishment and implementation of new corporate strategies. I have managed project groups within large multi-national companies, coordinating the participation of diverse department functions such as legal, investment management, operations, IT, and actuarial.
